グレイテスト・ヒッツ-チャプター・ワン~スペシャル・エディション~

　３学期最初の英語の歌はいつもより（少しだけ）最近のBACKSTREET BOYSです。しかも微妙に古い曲。でもこの時期の曲の方が、生徒の耳にはなじんでいるようです。

　なによりもメロディが覚えやすく、細かく区切りながらうたうので歌詞カードにスラッシュをいれてあげれば、英語の苦手な生徒でも一緒に歌えると思います。文法的に何年生向けということはないんですが、wannaとかain'tとかnothin'とか口語表現がふんだんに使われているので、３年生あたりにそういう表現を教えてあげるチャンスかも知れませんね。

　それから先日のLINKS Workshopで中嶋先生がおっしゃっていたように、歌のサイクルを早めることにしました。今までは１ヶ月に１曲のペースでしたが、３年生は２月いっぱいまでしか授業できないから、というのもあるけど２週間で１曲にしました。「５回〜６回で次の曲に行く」という緊張感を与えてより活発に参加してもらおうと思います。
